Now looking back on my previous comment, I did not word it well enough. What I was trying to say was: It was the 'easiest' (I guess you could say) thing to be because no one is going to come up to you and say you are going to hell if you are straight (let's just assume that they have never done anything to be told they they are going to hell). Where there is always going to be the Westboro Baptist Church to go to the extreme and telling people that are attracted to the same sex that they are going to go to hell, of my knowledge, there has not been a church, or anything really, that has told a completely straight person that they are going to hell. Whereas if straight people where the minority, we could have a straight pride parade. It really just goes back to the reason we have a gay pride parade, the oppression (especially of not being able to marry) brought them to it. (I'm not sure if that made sense because I'm too lazy to go back and re-read it)

But the reason why there is a women's day is because of the oppression(and blah blah blah[I'm too lazy to type it out]) that we went through.

I'd have to disagree, but I am also a small insignificant fangirl so my opinion doesn't matter.

The thing is, in society, straight is the thing that most people consider 'natural', so we don't particularly need a Straight Pride Parade. If we lived in a world where the minority was straight, then we would have straight pride day.
