I don't know if this has been said already.. I don't get notifications when someone comments on one of my posts. I have to manually go to that post and click follow comments or just check periodically.

I think it's cute, he's all curled up, taking a nap. =)

There's not need to shoot it or whatever, unless there is an unavoidable danger to your life. It's a living creature, don't take it's life unnecessarily.

Some people are so good at usernames, while I am suddenly drained of any creativity I might have possessed when it comes to the create username part.

Skittles, I have no problem with what you want to take as a joke. Whether or not this specific post was clearly a joke, is an opinion. Obviously from this conversation we differ in that. That's fine, I'm not looking to change your mind. I was saying that for myself as an individual, I feel it is necessary to speak up about the issues that are important to me.

You are welcome to your opinions and beliefs, as we all are, and to share them as you feel necessary. I think it is great that we have the freedom to express ourselves as such.
We will go through life encountering many people with whom we won't agree. I think most of that's what makes life interesting, exploring different perspectives.

In this particular topic though, I am saddened that this is still an issue.

Within the context of this post, it seemed like you were only talking about this post. Thanks for clearing it up though.

Strawberries taste pretty good by themselves, it doesn't make one "boring" for enjoying the deliciousness.

Yes, sometimes sitting back and laughing at a joke is okay. Then there are times when you should speak up if you feel it will improve humanity.
I personally feel like this is one of those times (even if it is rather minor), because i don't think that comments like the title of the post (which was completely unnecessary, like macaroons said above) should just be passed over.
It's those little sexist remarks that get said all the time without anyone speaking up, that contribute to a larger issue.
On another note, @skittles, you said you don't get offended easily, but from your last comment it sounded like you were taking this conversation pretty personally.

I saw it in the gift shop last time I was there. It's as awesome as it looks.
I would've gotten it then, but it was pricier than I was comfortable with, so I planned on looking online for a better deal.
Forgot about it til now, thanks for reminding me. =)

When I go to the movies I usually make sure to bring a purse with extra space, so if anyone wants to get snacks & drinks at the store beforehand I can sneak it in.

2 people do not prove a stereotype. They are plenty on honest people of every color. Don't believe stereotypes.

Stereotype definition: something conforming to a fixed or general pattern; especially :  a standardized mental picture that is held in common by members of a group and that represents an oversimplified opinion, prejudiced attitude, or uncritical judgment.

I get that it's frustrating to sit behind someone that blocks your view, but I see there's a textbook on your desk, there's no way that could be of use to you passing the class..
