The cake at 1:48 really looks like a Romanian recipe my girlfriend made for last Christmas. Now THAT is multiculturalism.
Also, I now officially want to go in Australia.
It is called a lamington. They are amazing.
Sponge cake with chocolate icing and dessicated coconut, named for Lord Lamington, governor of Queensland in one year or another. Which I think is a hilarious bit of trivia.
Also, please, come to Australia!

The Romanian version of the same idea is with a not-really-sponge cake made with honey, and there is rum in the icing.
So, I will have to visit both Romania and Australia in years to come, I guess :)
Gotta love our country...by the way was that Peter Garrett dancing before the wiggle bit? If so HAHAHAHA! (amongst our friends he is known as Aussie voldemort)
