Charity drive owners can't line their pockets with canned food which is why they want money. I call BS on this. I have donated to charity drives specifically asking for canned food, and every time I donated I've gone to the store for new foods. I've never donated expired products from my cabinet. Also, if they are running a charity, why does it matter to them that they have to pay for people to deliver and sort through expired foods. It's a charity; you give! There have been so many charities that mismanaged funds over the years that it's hard to know who is honest these days.
