Maybe something was lost in translation here, but the virus modelling software they are using looks at whether a person can infect others or not. Whether you're dead or recovered, you're non-invective, and that's what's being measured.

@cakelover Do you really not see the problem in the state mandating that a woman who is, in their opinion, not mature enough to choose a very safe medical procedure, is somehow mature enough to go through the health risks pregnancy and birth, followed by two decades of raising and supporting said child?
