Man, don't be so easily upset, I'm teasing you and you get nut by thinking you are in some holy crusade to defend Darwin.
You're the one who wants me to change my point of view, nice, but you don't even realise that my own culture is different from yours. I've been in the US many times and I know how people there tend to panic about anything, especially aboud food infection and stuff.
In my country, we're used to eat molded stuff and raw flesh without any specific treatment and we are doing just fine.
Yes, there may be a risk, just like you can be killed by a drunk driver when crossing the street.
So please, also try to open your own mind before thinking everyone's stupid.
Peace and love <3

LOL, you can't admit you over interpreted a sentence and that you have 0 sense of humour. Too bad, there is no pill for that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh man, I didn't know that ! Is this why we are told to put fresh and frozen food into specific bags, then to come back home as fast as possible to finally put it in a fridge ? I always thought it was some kind of conspiracy, so I always put meat and fish in my closet or let 'em 3 days in the back of my car on a sunny spot !
Joke aside, why don't you understand "in case of raw oysters, only nature is the good chef" as a whole and simple sentence ? Am I mentioning sushis ? No. I'm talking about fresh oysters that I ate in a town that is literally one of the biggest French harbours. They take oysters from the sea, they transport 'em properly on a few kilometers and they serve 'em in restaurants. End of story. The very only & last thing done by caters, is to open the oysters and put them on a plate with fresh lemon aside.
Mate, I'm worry about you : why do you need to explain unnecessary (and uncorrect) stuff to random people on Funsubstance's comment section ?

Sure, you're right. But still, making sure you properly transport food has nothing to do with cooking it.

Haha ! I had never eaten cooked oysters until I visit Japan (their oyesters are huge like a steak...)
I also used to dislike raw oysters, but after a trip in Bordeaux (a French city close to the ocean), i realised there are many sorts of oysters and i eventually found one type I pretty much enjoyed, even if they were as fresh and raw as possible.

It sounds disgusting but it's actually really good. After all, it's like eating oysters and other seefood.

@alekazam : my people like eating snails and frogs' leg. And without milk, we would not have so many delicious cheeses !
A Cyclist in Canada deals with a road raged driver in the most Canadian way possible 8 comments

The fact is, the angry man had no reasons to honk the cyclist (or I don't see any), so he was the biggest asshole in that story. He kept insulting the cyclist who still remained polite and tried to explain this "i-drive-a-big-car-so-fuck-off" dude that his behaviour was not right.
I disagree with the statement "let angry people to be angry" because sometimes, they can endanger other fellows. They are grown-ups, not toddlers doing a tantrum, they're supposed to be able to hold their horses when facing minimum annoyance. Honking a cyclist is terribly aggressive and it should be used only if the cyclist truly is dangerous.

Because Google is not always 100% accurate and not everyone gets a smartphone, or they do, but they are foreigners and can't use their datas... There might be tons of reasons, it is not that hard to be a decent human being and help your fellows to find their path.

Uber drivers out here keeping it real 5 comments
kirlika · 6 years ago
Last time I was in the US (and needed to use uber a lot), on my very last trip to LA airport, I've got a super xxl Uber for the price of a normal Uber. The reason ? I was a 5 stars customer. The driver of this super cool car told me "I've been doing that job since the very beginning of Uber, and you're my first 5-stars customer".
He explained me then that most customers were assholes who would put average rates for stupid things, like music or car perfumes...
It shocked me because all the ubers I ordered in LA were "at least" efficient and good drivers, so they did deserve their 5 stars anyway. To me, 5 stars does not mean it was fantastic or outstanding service (it's just a car drive, not an all-inclusive hotel...), it just means the guys did his/her bloody job and drove safely.

My mom used to walk me like this after she dislocated my shoulder when I tried to do a tantrum by throwing myself to a puddle with new clothes, because I would not hold her hand. She regretted immediately and bought that kiddy leash, so I could run freely around her and she would not lose me (because I was also sort of a ninja).
I also had allergies, but it was the case before she put me on leash, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Daily routine (at least 4 days a week)
- wake up at 4am (my tip : put your alarm clock far from your bed)
- get dressed and drink a tea
- go out for a run at 4.45 am with my dog
- come home at 5.15 and do more exercises (plank , squats and abs)
- shower and get dressed again for my work
- eat breakfast (eggs, wheat and stuff)
- leave for work and take bus at 6.30
- start working at 8
- do my working day, come home, spend time with hubby and get bed at 10pm.
I've never felt as healthy as since I've been doing this. And trust me, i've always been a damn lazy ass with sleep troubles and back pain, and it's much much better since. :)

French, what the love are you doing. 12 comments

Never heard of a "coup de fou" or "coup de foutre" either, and i'm French too. There is "Coup de folie", but it just means being nut. Just like you can say "je suis excité" if you say the origin of your excitement (..."about meeting you" / "à l'idée de vous rencontrer"
I think English is as nasty as French.
"I feel nuts" can have 2 meanings. That's the same for "I'm so hot", "I'm wet" (when you're a girl), etc.
"My friend turned me in" and "My friend turned me on" means 2 different things. Female animals may have a sexual innuendo (bitch, pussy...)
:) Just like in French !
For the fun : I live in "vergers" (orchads) street. And I don't know why, but one in two I give my address, people understand "verge" (penis) street... xD
