As a man that has worked his life in ophthalmology/optometry and was just promoted to run a surgical eye clinic w/store in it, I’d say it was more the style of the time.

People who have a +5.00 and higher sph. Correction are more prone to being mentally unstable. We also find an increase in felonies around poor eye sight, namely kids who did not have corrective glasses as children and grew to be criminals in our society.

But for friggin real, double bar style is like…. The hit…..and still is…….today…………even now……….
