Can't remember how he died but the croc was shot in the head (eye?) by a hunter in its younger years leaving it with permanent brain damage, the man in the pictures had been caring for him for almost 20 years I believe. Mind you that's all from memory, can't be 100% sure of accuracy

Great list and glad to see one of my favorite foreign films on here. Let the right one in is a severely underrated movie. It's not super flashy like twilight and other crappy vamp roms but is so much better in simple plot quality.
